September is Pain Awareness Month

Pain Awareness Month is a time when various organizations work to raise public awareness of issues in the area of pain and pain management.

Herbal Mana is not only dedicated to providing natural pain-relieving products, we also want to provide you with resources to help you live your best life.

"Everyone who lives with chronic pain—or cares about someone who does—is different. But at the same time, we all have common interests. We are a kind of community and deserve to have our voices heard."

Life with chronic pain can often mean that taking care of yourself becomes a full-time job. It can affect every aspect of your life including sleep, daily activities, and relationships.

Each week this month, we will be highlighting

  • Pain-related conditions
  • Ways to manage pain
  • Ways to communicate with friends, family, and healthcare providers
  • Logs
  • Checklists
  • and more!

This week, we will begin our month of pain awareness with our blog post, "DMSO for Arthritis"

“If joint and/or muscle pain is interfering with your quality of life, I suggest you give dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) a try.” - Dr. Julian Whitaker

Studies have indicated that DMSO’s capacity of a free-radical scavenger plays an important role in its effects on arthritis. The Committee of Clinical Drug Trials. . .
